FeesTuition fees for Non-European Union students For NON-EU students, a common fee of € 10,500 per year will be charged to cover the tuition fee and administrative cost for the institutions which host the student and deliver the degree. Regarding Erasmus Mundus grantees (category A, i.e. non-European students), when the student accepts the scholarship and registers to OpSciTech, he/she authorizes the coordinator to transfer the entire amount of the fees to the host institutions. The Coordinator will deduct the yearly Erasmus Mundus tuition fees of 10,500 euros from his/her EM yearly grant. These yearly tuition fees include those due to the institution that will host him/her. The remainder of the EM grant (27,000 euros for 2 years) will be paid each year by the host institution to the student, in quarterly advances. It should cover most of the living cost depending on the site considered. It includes the travel fees and accomodation fees (lodging and catering) during the summer workshop organized each year. Other services are provided by each International Office (see services provided). Tuition fees for European Union students For EU-students, the tuition fee is € 4,600 per year. This fee includes the full costs for tuition as defined by local legislation plus a variable service fee depending on the partner. All the tuition fees (EU and third-country students) are paid in full to the coordinator before the beginning of the academic year. From 2010-11 eight Erasmus Mundus grants (category B) are available for European students. Additional grants may be available locally for outgoing or for incoming European students in the OpSciTech programme. See Grants section, paragraph Partners grants for EU OpSciTech students. Living costs Students are expected to finance their accommodation, insurances, living and travel costs themselves. The respective institutions have services for foreign students that can provide assistance in arranging accommodation, insurances and other living arrangements.
Services provided All partners run international programmes and provide the services of an Office for International Students and Scholars.
